On this page, community members review the November 8, 2022 Voter-Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE) details, including potential outcomes, ballot language, and voting details.
Potential VATRE Outcomes

If the VATRE passes in the November 2022 election, the district would see an estimated $640,000 increase in revenue annually to fund employee compensation and fund balance recovery.
If the VATRE does not pass, the district will not receive additional available VATRE revenue for identified priorities.

VOTING DETAILS
Early Voting
Early voting begins Monday, October 24, 2022 and ends on Friday, November 4, 2022. Voters entitled to vote an early ballot by personal appearance may do so at any Early Voting location assigned by the Collin County Elections Department. Early Voting polling times vary by date.

Election Day: Tuesday, November 8, 2022
Election Day Polling Locations open from 7 am to 7 pm
Polling locations will be assigned by the Collin County Elections Department.
